• 1. Soil: select the soil with good drainage, strong moisture retention and no caking for planting;

   

  2. Temperature: the suitable growth temperature of iris is about 16-18 ℃. Too high or too low temperature will affect the growth of iris;

   

  3. Sowing: select plump and healthy seeds, soak them and sprinkle them on the soil, then cover them with a thin layer of sand, and then give them reasonable light and water.

   

  4. Iris blooms in spring. The flowering period is about three months, from April to June. The method of dividing plants and sowing is often used. Ramets can be planted after flowering in spring or autumn. Generally, they can be planted once after 2 ~ 4 years.
