1, Planting time

The seeds of Paeonia lactiflora should be sown as soon as they are picked. The mature time of seeds varies in different regions. For example, Heilongjiang generally matures in the first ten days of September, while Shandong, Jiangsu and other places generally mature in the second ten days of August, and Henan in the first ten days of August, mostly in autumn. At this time, sowing can release the dormancy state earlier, which is conducive to rooting and germination, and the germination rate in spring is relatively low.

2, Seed selection and germination

Select the peony seeds with full grains, remove the dry seeds, and then soak them in water to pick out the empty seeds floating on them. The remaining seeds should be soaked in 50 ℃ warm water, and they can be taken out for sowing after 24 hours. By soaking seeds to make it absorb water, it can make its germination more integral, and the seedling emergence rate can be increased to 80%.

3, Soil preparation
