The first step is to promote germination, which refers to the time when the temperature is high and 25 ℃ in summer. Generally, this operation is not required in seasons. The temperature is adjusted at about 5 ℃. After 24 hours, take it out and put it in a cool place. Wait until 80% of the seeds are white before sowing.

The second step is sowing. Spread the seeds that promote germination and whiteness in the flowerpot or courtyard with wet soil, and then spray them with a watering can. The top can be covered with a thin layer of soil. Be careful not to be too thick. It is best to just cover the seeds. In other low temperature seasons, lettuce seeds do not need to be germinated. They can be mixed with sand and stirred evenly with water. Then it is sown into the moist soil. It is covered with thin soil.

The third step is to maintain the water permeability of the soil during the lettuce seedling period, avoid water logging, water in the morning and evening when the temperature is high, and a small amount of frequent watering is preferred. It is suitable to control the water in the early stage of growth and keep it moist.

The fourth step is transplanting. When lettuce seedlings grow to 5 to 6 true leaves, they can be transplanted. Before transplantation, the water shall be poured first, and the water shall be fully penetrated. Then shovel out the seedlings with a shovel, and transplant them together with the root soil.

The fifth step is to manage lettuce seedlings. After transplanting, the seedlings can be given appropriate light. After a week, the seedlings can be exposed to the sun normally. At the same time, fertilizer can be applied. Nitrogen fertilizer is the main fertilizer, and decomposed organic fertilizer is the best. Fertilization can be done once a week. Stop fertilizing until harvest.
