Crimson clover is an excellent forage with strong adaptability, which can be used for green feed, silage and prepared hay. It has high nitrogen content and fast decomposition. Plant every three years. Because of its dense stems and leaves, long green period and bright flowers, it is very suitable for ground cover landscaping plants and high-quality nectar plants. The red clover also has strong soil water retention and is used as a soil and water conservation plant, and has a wide range of uses.

Crimson clover is an annual or perennial leguminous herb with a plant height of 30~100cm, erect stems, and a corolla of dark red, vermilion to orange, very beautiful. The red clover likes warm and humid climates, not cold, heat, and drought. It is suitable for planting in areas with an annual rainfall of more than 600 mm, with 700-1000 mm being the most suitable. It does not require strict soil requirements and can grow normally in sandy, slightly alkaline and weakly acidic soils.

1. Sowing time: The Crimson clover can be sown in spring, summer and autumn. In a suitable sowing period, the earlier the planting, the higher the yield. The minimum temperature for the germination of the seeds of the red clover is about 10 ℃, and the germination will be affected if the temperature exceeds 35 ℃ or is lower than 10 ℃, and 20-25 ℃ is the most suitable for growth.

2. Sowing method: The soil should be deeply plowed before sowing. First apply a base fertilizer to the soil, along with herbicides and fungicides.
