1. Seed picking

Paulownia fruit matures in October. When picking seeds, you can choose trees that are more than 8 years old to collect fruit. If the fruit is too small, the fruit yield is not high, and the quality of the seeds is not high. The capsules are ready to be picked when they turn from yellow to tan. The fruit is dried in the sun, the seeds are taken out and then aired, and it can be stored after it is completely dry.

2. Seed germination

Soak the seeds for germination, soak them in warm water for about 24 hours, remove the seeds, and drain the water before sowing. In the initial sowing stage, the soil should be kept moist and the ground temperature is suitable, so that after the seeds are planted, there will be a better germination rate.

3. Breeding method

Seedlings grow well in an environment of about 15-25°C. Generally, the seeds germinate 3-5 days after sowing, and after a period of ventilation and maintenance, the seedlings grow to a height of 30 cm, thinning and fertilizing. In addition to the seedling raising method, Paulownia also often adopts the rooting method to raise the seedlings, leaving the roots, leveling the stubble, and burying the roots.
