Seed collection: Collect when the seeds turn yellowish-brown, dry in the shade, remove the fruit stalk, bracts, etc. After the seeds are collected, they are sun-dried and impurity removed to obtain pure seeds. The optimum moisture content for stored seeds is 10% to 12%. Seed purity requirements are 75% to 90%.

Germination: The linden seeds have dormancy characteristics and are not treated with germination. Poor germination, or even no germination that year. Seed treatment should be carried out 90-100 days before sowing, soak the seeds with 40cc warm water for 3 days and nights, and then remove the seeds. After drying, the seeds were soaked with 0.5% potassium permanganate aqueous solution for 5 hours. Then fish out the seeds and dry them in the sun to prepare for germination. Germination method: In the room, mix evenly according to the volume ratio of seed sand to 1:2, and keep the sand humidity at 60%. The warm and wet stage treatment is carried out first. The seed temperature is 15 ℃ ~ 20 ℃, the duration is about 45d, and then it is transferred to the cold and wet stage treatment. The temperature of planting sand is 3℃~5℃, and the duration is more than 45d. Turn the seeds frequently, and sow the seeds when the seed split rate is 30%.

Land preparation for bed preparation: Choose sandy loam plots with fertile soil, loose structure, rich humus and good drainage for land preparation and bed raising. Five days before spring sowing, soil preparation should be carried out, the stones and weeds and weeds should be thoroughly removed by the roots, sufficient fertilizer should be applied, and the seedbeds should be 15~20cm high, 1.2cm wide and 20~30m long. The bed surface is raked and leveled, and then watered once, and the seeds can be sown when the water infiltrates the bed surface a little.

Sowing: Ridge or bed. Apply 60,000 to 70,000 kg of decomposed basal fertilizer per hectare of sowing land, and spring sowing ridges are better. Ridge width 60cm, ridge platform width 30cm, ridge height 15cm. Cover with soil 10~15cm after sowing. Use a wooden roll to suppress one or two times. The soil needs to be kept moist before emergence. The amount of sowing and the thickness of the soil cover are determined according to the size of the seeds. The linden is planted about 5kg per mu, and the soil thickness is 1cm. Most of the well-treated seeds germinate and unearth 15-20 days after sowing, and the seedlings need to build a shade to prevent sunburn
