From April to June, the seeds are sown in loose soil with good base fertilizer, the seeding rate per square meter is about 150 grams, the soil is covered with 1.2-1.5 cm, and the ground temperature is controlled at 20-25 °C. Seedlings can emerge within 8-10 days, and the optimum temperature for growth is 18-35°C.

Euphorbia marginata likes warm, dry and sunny environment, not cold-resistant, drought-resistant, and should grow in loose, fertile and well-drained sandy loam soil. But loose and fertile soil grows better and blooms prosperously.
