The nursery should be selected on sandy loam ground with shelter from wind and sunshine, thick soil layer, fertile and moist soil with good drainage and sufficient water source. Liriodendron is tall and straight, usually occupying the top layer of the forest canopy. Positive, hi light, saplings are slightly shade-tolerant. Likes warm and humid, cool climate, strong adaptability, can withstand low temperature of -20 ℃, and can also endure mild drought and high temperature. The leaves have strong heat resistance, and no symptoms of heat damage were seen at 38 °C; under 40 °C high temperature hot water treatment, there were very slight brown necrotic spots on the leaves. It likes fertilizer and humidity, and it grows especially quickly in the site conditions of deep, fertile, moist and well-drained soil. It is suitable for growing on fertile, loose and well-drained soil (pH4.5-6.5); avoid low humidity and waterlogging, it will grow poorly on dry land
