① Soak the seeds in 1% lime water (1 catty of lime plus 100 catties of water) for 1-2 days and nights, and then sow seeds after drying.

② Soak the seeds in warm water (half boiling water to half cold water) for 2-3 days and nights, and then take them out for sowing after drying.

③ Mix 1 part of the seeds with 2 parts of wet sand, bury them in a pit about 2.5 feet deep, keep them moist, and after about 12-15 days, when the seeds start to crack, they can be taken out and planted. Germinated larch seeds can be unearthed in about 3 days after sowing, and can be unearthed in 7-8 days.
